Advice on going to an English Premiership football match..
If travelling to a English Premiership football match try these handy hints and tips:-
1. Try and find out where it is before you go as it may be far away and you may need to go on a bus or find a decent car hire company.
2. Take some sandwiches with you as you may be there for while and not like the food in the stadium.
3. Decide on which team you are going to support and try and see their games especially if they are playing at home. Make sure it is your team playing when at the match as supporting a team that is not playing can be embarrassing and sometime dangerous.
4. England is quite a big place so be prepared to travel to a game - they are not all played at the same stadium infact each English Premiership Team often has their own stadium or pitch .
5 If you are in Scotland you are probably in the wrong place.
Hope these help. Lovefootball.net
Will the 2010 budget cuts affect Lovefootball.net?
No, probably not.Lovefootball.net tells us how England could have won the World Cup in South Africa..
We could have won the World Cup if we had played better and beaten all the other teams especially Germany. In fact if we had been better than Spain we would have probably won. We had full confidence that if the squad did their duty, if nothing was neglected, and if the best arrangements had been made, as they should have been, then we should have proved ourselves once again able to win, to ride out the storm, and to outlive the menace of lack luster performance and tabloid headlines, if necessary for years, if necessary alone.
At any rate, that is what we should have been trying to do. That was the resolve of the England Squad-every man of them. That was the will of Fabio, the Team and the nation.
The British Empire was linked together in this cause and in this need, should have defended to the death their goal, aiding each other like good comrades to the utmost of their strength.
Even though large tracts of our "press" and many old and famous pundits had fallen into the grip of the "negative" and all the odious apparatus of "beat ourselves up" mind set, we should have ignored it and not flagged or failed.
We should have go on to the end, we should have fought in South Africa,
we should have fought in Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium,
we should have fought with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we should have defended our goal, whatever the cost may be,
we should have fought on the run,
we should have fought on the break,
we should have fought in the field and in the box,
we should have fought and we should have fought and we should have fought some more;
we should have never surrendered, and even when, which I could not for a moment believe, we went down a goal or a large part of the first 15 minutes was a bit poo, then our Empire beyond the seas, armed and guarded by the British Fleet, would carry on the struggle, until, in God's good time, the New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue and the liberation of the old.
But we didn't.

Lovefootball.net develp new aerodynamic aid for worldcup football - see here for details
At Lovefootball.net we put our top scientist to work on developing an aerodynamic aid that would help the England squad control the flight of the Worldcup football. We hope to have it in production for the 2014 World Cup. The aim was to design and develop an aid that would allow the flight of the ball to be controlled after kicking. After literally minutes of development our boffins have solved the problem and we are now ready to present to the footballing world our new, highly technical but essentially simple Lovefootball.net Worldcup Ball Flight Control Gismo or LWBFCG as we lovingly call it.
The design is patented in almost all major towns and parks and we are now offering Worldcup Teams licenses to use the device (obviously Fabio and the crew get discounted rates). If you are the manager of a Worldcup Team and would like to apply for a license then send your enquiry to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
